Tschabalala Self is a Harlem-born artist whose cross-disciplinary work explores ideas about the body, traversing different artistic and craft traditions. Inspired by her painting Ol’ Bay, this full-length puffer alters timeless checkerboard patterning with linear red stitching that unifies the two shades.
